Dan D. Harris Jr., DMD completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS, and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, Jackson, MS, in 1980. Dr. Harris worked as a clinical instructor at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and went on to work at National Public Health Services (2^ND Lieutenant) before pursuing his specialty. Dr. Harris completed his residency in Periodontics at the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry, and started his own practice upon his certification in Periodontology (1984). Dr. Harris is a current member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and the Nashville Dental Society.
